MDBF Webinarları – Dr. Asad Abdi
Mühendislik ve Doğa Bilimleri Fakültemizin düzenlediği webinar serisi kapsamında 18 Şubat Cuma saat 14.00’te University of Twente’den (Hollanda) Dr. Asad Abdi, “A Unified Artificial Intelligence-Based Method for Big Data Management” başlıklı bir sunum yapacak.
Zoom üzerinden gerçekleşecek etkinlik ilgilenen herkesin katılımına açıktır.
Özet: Nowadays every second huge amount of data is being generated by enterprises, especially on the internet. On the other hand, the accuracy and relevance of Business Intelligence and Analytics rely on the ability to bring high data quality to the data warehouse from both internal and external sources using the Extraction Transformation Load (ETL) process, Figure 1. It is a persistent challenge to achieve a high quality of data in data warehouses. Some data errors can be traced across different data sources and are difficult to find. Small mistakes can make data unusable, and corrupted data can have serious consequences. Therefore, the correctness of data is essential for well-formed and reliable decision making. For this reason, new techniques and methods of data cleansing and data monitoring are required to ensure data quality. The current research work aims to propose a unified Artificial Intelligence-based method that implements robust data quality to ensure consistent and correct loading of data into data warehouses that is necessary for accurate and reliable data analysis and knowledge discovery. We further discuss about how Natural Language Processing can be employed in the context of Big Data.
